Ernest Podgórski

Vice President of the PZU Zdrowie Management Board

Graduate of the Faculty of Economics and the Faculty of Management at the University of Gdańsk, where he was granted the degree of Doctor of Management.

As statutory auditor, he takes an active part in the work of the professional association. Since 2017, he has been a member of the Examination Committee for Candidates for statutory auditors appointed by the Minister of Finance. In 2008-2021, he was a member of the Accounting Standards Committee at the Minister of Finance. He has served on the Supervisory Board of Mostostal Warsaw since 2016. He was also a member of Supervisory Boards of W. Kruk S.A. (2021-2022) and VRG S.A. (2021).

He gives lectures on accounting and financial auditing at higher education institutions and numerous training institutions as well as mandatory training courses for statutory auditors on IAS/IFRS and MSB. Since 2019, he has been a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. He has published a number of articles on accounting as well as comments about amendments to accounting and tax laws.
