Scope of occupational health

We provide comprehensive occupational health examinations at every stage of employment. By working with us, you can focus on running your business with the confidence that your employees receive the best medical care. Taking care of employees' health and effectively managing occupational health matters translates into measurable financial benefits for the company: employees fall ill less often, feel better, and are more productive at work.

We carry out mandatory occupational health examinations required by law.

Preliminary research

  • Before starting work – for new employees.
  • Before changing position – when an employee moves to a different position, even within the same company.
  • Before a change in job nature – when new risks or exposures appear in the current position (e.g. noise, working at heights, chemical substances).

Periodic examinations

  • Before the medical certificate expires – to maintain continuity of employment in a given position.
  • In the event of a deterioration in the employee’s health – even if they have a valid certificate but are unable to perform their duties for health reasons.

Check-ups

  • For employees who have been on sick leave for more than 30 days – to assess whether their health condition allows them to safely return to their duties in their current position.

Final examinations

  • For employees who are leaving the company – if in their previous role they were exposed to factors particularly harmful to health.

For sanitary and epidemiological purposes

  • For employees who will have contact with food – to rule out conditions that are contraindications for this type of work.
  • For employees whose job involves frequent contact with people – to rule out diseases transmitted by droplets that may pose a risk to others.

Job overview

  • Before starting operations of a new company or creating new positions – to assess planned working conditions and potential risks.
  • Regularly (periodically) – the frequency of reviews depends on the type of business and the level of occupational risk.
  • In the event of technological changes or reorganization of workplaces – to assess the impact of new conditions on employees’ health.
  • When health issues are reported by employees or the employer – as a follow-up inspection.
  • After a workplace accident or identification of an occupational disease – as an ad hoc inspection to identify the causes of the incident and prevent similar cases in the future.
  • To adapt the workplace to individual needs – e.g. for an employee with a disability or health limitations.
  • At the request of supervisory authorities – such as the National Labour Inspectorate (PIP) or the State Sanitary Inspection (Sanepid).

An occupational health physician is required to participate in the review, assessing the workplace from a health and ergonomic perspective. Regular reviews help minimize occupational risk, increase work efficiency, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Participation of an occupational medicine physician in occupational health and safety committees

  • For companies with an established Health and Safety Committee – in accordance with the Labour Code, an occupational health physician must participate in the committee’s work.

The presence of a physician allows committee members to reliably assess working conditions in terms of their impact on employees’ health and to formulate preventive recommendations. This helps the employer fulfill statutory obligations and make informed decisions regarding employee health and safety.
